Multimedia Designer (Video, Digital & Print)
You shoot it, edit it, design it, and ship it. This is a hands-on multimedia role where your output directly shapes how TBR shows up — across every campaign, channel, and client touchpoint.
We usually respond within three days
About The Back Room
We exist to free our clients' time so they can focus on what they do best — growing their business. We deliver smart, efficient solutions that liberate teams from the everyday admin, and we hold ourselves to the same standard. Time is the ultimate currency, and we treat it like it.
About the Client
The Marketing team is responsible for how TBR shows up — across campaigns, content, events, and every touchpoint in between. They work closely with leadership and internal teams to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and tell the TBR story well.
As the team grows its content output, we're looking for a hands-on multimedia designer to own the creative execution — from filming to final asset.
The Role
This isn't a one-trick role. You'll cover end-to-end content production: filming at client visits and events, editing footage into polished videos, and designing assets for digital campaigns and print. You'll be a core part of how TBR's marketing comes to life — and the standard you hold will directly shape the quality of everything we put out.
What You'll Do
Film video content across client visits, webinars, and internal shoots — handling camera setup, framing, lighting, and audio
Edit long-form recordings into short-form clips, social videos, teasers, and promotional content — with captions, transitions, and platform optimisation
Design digital assets for email campaigns, social media, webinar promotions, landing pages, and display
Produce print and long-form materials including white papers, event banners, reports, and presentation decks
Repurpose content across formats to maximise output from every shoot or campaign
Maintain brand consistency across all digital and print outputs
Use AI tools to support design, editing, and ideation — refining outputs to ensure everything is polished and on-brand
Collaborate with the marketing team on timelines, priorities, and campaign delivery
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of experience in multimedia design and/or video production
A strong portfolio that includes video (shot and edited), digital campaign assets, and print or long-form design (white papers, reports, or similar)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (CapCut or Canva a bonus)
Hands-on filming experience — camera operation, basic lighting, and audio setup
Solid understanding of layout, typography, and print file preparation
Organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple briefs at once
Nice to Have
Experience with motion graphics or animation
Familiarity with AI-assisted design and video tools
Background in B2B or professional services marketing
Why This Role
TBR's marketing is growing, and this person will have real ownership over the quality of everything we produce. If you're a generalist who takes pride in craft — someone who can pick up a camera and still deliver a polished white paper — this is a role where that range gets fully used, not overlooked.
