About The Back Room
We exist to free our clients' time so they can focus on what they do best — growing their business. We deliver smart, efficient solutions that liberate teams from the everyday admin, and we hold ourselves to the same standard. Time is the ultimate currency, and we treat it like it.
About the Marketing Team
The marketing team is responsible for driving campaign execution and brand visibility for the client's business. They work closely with design, content, and sales to bring initiatives to life — from webinars and email campaigns to lead generation programs.
As the team scales, they're looking for someone to own the operational layer: the coordination, the follow-through, and the visibility that keeps everything running smoothly.
The Role
This is the right hand to the Head of Marketing — a role for someone who thrives on keeping things moving and takes real ownership of delivery. You'll sit at the centre of campaigns, tools, and cross-team coordination, ensuring every initiative is planned, tracked, and executed without anything slipping through the cracks. Success in the first six months looks like: campaigns launching on time, the Head of Marketing spending less time chasing, and a cleaner, more structured marketing operation.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end coordination of marketing campaigns — timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and follow-ups across design, content, and sales teams
Manage execution of webinars, email campaigns, and content launches, ensuring everything ships on schedule
Support campaign setup and workflow management in HubSpot, including lists, segmentation, and basic automation
Maintain accurate CRM data and lead tracking to support campaign performance visibility
Build and maintain dashboards and weekly status updates so the team always knows what's live, delayed, or upcoming
Standardise recurring processes and build simple checklists that reduce manual effort and improve execution consistency
Act as the coordination hub between marketing and other teams — keeping stakeholders aligned, assets moving, and approvals on track
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign coordination, or marketing execution
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM — email setup, list management, workflows, and lead tracking
Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns or projects simultaneously, with strong deadline discipline
Comfortable working across teams and managing up, across, and sideways without losing track of the detail
Highly organised, proactive, and able to operate independently once direction is set
Nice to Have
Experience supporting B2B marketing campaigns or demand generation programs
Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Trello, or similar)
Exposure to marketing performance reporting or dashboard tools
Why This Role
If you're a strong marketing operator who's been looking for a role where you can actually own delivery — not just support it — this is it. You'll have direct access to a senior marketing leader, genuine ownership of how campaigns run, and the chance to shape the operational foundation of a growing marketing function. The impact is visible and immediate.
