The On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) — Talent Acquisition (Pooling) will gain hands-on experience supporting candidate sourcing, screening and administrative workflows that keep our talent pipeline active and well-managed. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to learn recruitment fundamentals, engage with stakeholders and contribute to an efficient talent pooling process. You will assist the talent acquisition team with day-to-day tasks, follow established procedures and help ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
Support candidate sourcing activities through job boards, social media and internal databases.
Assist with initial candidate screening, schedule interviews and maintain clear, professional communication with applicants.
Support in migrating to new ATS.
Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate pipeline data.
Help coordinate talent pooling initiatives, including outreach campaigns and follow-up tasks.
Prepare routine recruitment reports and assist with basic metrics tracking.
Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to support ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
Adhere to confidentiality, data protection and internal control requirements at all times.
Qualifications:
Students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree (Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field).
Sense of initiative with a willingness to learn and take on tasks proactively.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
Clear written and verbal communication skills when liaising with candidates and stakeholders.
Social skills with a positive, professional manner and the ability to build rapport.
Committed, responsible and attentive to detail when managing candidate information and processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning ATS tools.

Additional information:
This position is open to applicants who can commit to the onsite schedule and who are enthusiastic about developing a career in recruitment. Successful completion of the OJT may present opportunities for further roles within the talent acquisition team.
