We don’t operate as a traditional outsourced firm — we work alongside leadership teams to build scalable financial infrastructure, drive clarity, and help companies make better decisions faster.
We’re looking for a high-potential Accounting Associate/Staff Accountant who wants more than transactional work. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, take ownership, and gain exposure to real-world finance operations across multiple dynamic businesses.
You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders and clients, supporting critical accounting workflows while helping improve systems, processes, and reporting. If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and excited by fast-moving environments, you’ll thrive here.
Core Accounting & Close
Perform daily and monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple client entities
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Operational Finance Support
Manage corporate card and expense reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely spend tracking
Support accounts payable workflows and weekly aging reviews
Oversee payroll processing, commission calculations, and related reconciliations, maintaining accurate reporting and controls
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and departmental reporting as needed
Tax & Compliance
Support year-end 1099 filings and tax documentation requests
Maintain organized documentation and improve M&A readiness across clients
Systems & Process Improvement
Help design and implement scalable accounting workflows, tools, and reporting structures
Participate in ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and finance initiatives across the Client’s portfolio
Who You Are
1–3 years of accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and comfort closing the books in a fast-paced environment
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Strong attention to detail with a structured, problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working across multiple priorities and clients in a fast-moving environment
Curious and proactive — someone who asks “why” and looks for ways to improve processes
Highly organized with strong ownership and accountability
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
Experience with accounting/finance systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Rillet, or similar) and other financial operating systems used in early-stage startups (Gusto, Rippling, Ramp, Bill.com, Airbase, or similar)
Experience with analysis tools (Looker, Aleph, or similar)
