Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Perform line of credit and loan reconciliations.
Maintain general ledger.
Post manual journal entries, as required.
Assist in the preparation of GST/HST tax returns (this is preferred, but not necessary)
Support payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payment to employees.
Maintain and organize supporting documents in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and integrations:
QuickBooks Online
Dext
Double (Keeper)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
